Groupon: Discounted Flight Lessons in Bowie
Been curious about flying a plane at Freeway Airport but weren't ready to make the financial commitment? Here's a chance to get a deep discount on flight lessons.
The featured Groupon for the Baltimore area for Saturday was discounted introductory flight lessons at Freeway Airport on Church Road, and will be on sale until midnight on Tuesday.
For $85, patrons can buy a one-hour introductory lesson, which is normally priced at $200. For an additional $15, a friend can tag along.
Starting with a lesson on the ground, students will get to control the plane through parts of the ascent, make some turns and the descent.
