Gun Fired During Attempted Carjacking At MGM National Harbor Parking Garage: Police
An attempted carjacking happened early Tuesday morning at an MGM National Harbor parking garage. The suspect's gun fired during a struggle.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Police are searching for the suspects who attempted to carjack a man at gunpoint early Tuesday morning in Oxon Hill.
At around 3 a.m., Prince George's County police officers were called to the parking garage at the MGM National Harbor for a report of an attempted carjacking. The preliminary investigation indicates a suspect approached the victim in the parking garage and demanded his vehicle at gunpoint. The victim and suspect got into a physical struggle and the suspect’s gun fired one round. No one was struck. The suspect then got back into the car he arrived in and fled the area. The victim’s vehicle was not stolen, according to a police report.
