Homicide Suspect, Victim Were In Relationship: Prince George's Police
A man has been charged in connection to the murder of a woman with whom he had a relationship, according to Prince George's Police.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Virginia man has been charged in connection to the murder of 28-year-old Tiffany Ward. According to police, Ward and the suspect, 39-year-old Keith Marcellus Ford, were in a relationship.
On May 18 at approximately 8:45 a.m., Ward was found unresponsive in her apartment in the 6200 block of Westchester Park Drive in College Park and pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy later determined Ward’s injuries were gunshot wounds and the manner of her death was ruled a homicide, according to the Prince George's Police Department.
Ford has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. Investigators say the motive currently remains under investigation.
