Hyattsville Homicide Victim Identified, $25K Reward Offered

Prince George's County Police have identified a man who died Wednesday from a shooting last week; a $25K reward for tips is offered.

Hyattsville, MD — A Hyattsville man died Wednesday of injuries he suffered when he was shot on June 24, according to Prince George's County Police.

The victim is Jeremiah Marlon Dingle, 20, of Quincy Street in Hyattsville. Detectives say Dingle's shooting was not a random crime.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

Police were called to a local hospital about 7:30 p.m. on June 24 after three shooting victims arrived who had driven themselves to the hospital. The victims were shot in the intersection of 54th Avenue at Macbeth Street in the unincorporated area of Hyattsville.

The other victims suffered non-life threatening injuries, police say.
