Hyattsville Woman Dies In 2-Vehicle Car Crash In Adelphi

A 31-year-old Hyattsville woman has died after police say she was involved in a two-vehicle crash near Adelphi early Monday morning.

ADELPHI, MD — A 31-year-old Hyattsville woman has died after police say she was involved in a two-vehicle car crash Monday morning.

On March 10 around 5:50 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Adelphia Road and Riggs Road for a report of a crash involving two vehicles. Berta Marroquin Colindres, 31, of Hyattsville was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead several hours later. The two drivers involved in the incident suffered minor injuries, according to the police department.

The preliminary investigation revealed the two vehicles collided in the intersection of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road. The cause of the collision is under investigation. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
