Man, 86, Dies After Hitting 4 Vehicles: Prince George's Police Department

An 86-year-old man hit four vehicles and sustained life-threating injuries. He died the following day, according to Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — An 86-year-old Washington, D.C., man died in a car accident in the area of Livingston Road and Crisfield Drive in Oxon Hill.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, James Charles Johnson was heading eastbound on Livingston Road when he collided with another vehicle, crossed the double yellow line and hit a third vehicle. Johnson's vehicle continued until it hit a fourth vehicle.

Johnson was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries sustained in the Oct. 14 accident and died Oct. 15. One of the other drivers sustained minor injuries, according to the police department.
