Man Arrested In Seat Pleasant Shooting: Police
Police say the man had a dispute with the victim, which led to the shooting.

SEAT PLEASANT, MD -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting in Seat Pleasant earlier this month.
Police arrested 27-year-old Franklin Scott of Capital Heights, accusing him of gunning down 24-year-old Lamont Adair on Aug. 8 shortly before 4 p.m., according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police were called to the 6600 block of Greig Street on that date to a report of a shooting, and found Adair suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, the report states. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

After an investigation, police identified Scott as a suspect. Police believe Scott was upset with Adair about a personal issue.
Scott faces first and second degree murder charges, and is being held without bond.
