Man Faces Charges In Gas Station Murder: Prince George's Police

A 60-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder after police say he hit and killed a man with his vehicle.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 60-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged in connection with the murder of 60-year-old Ronan Breaux of District Heights.

On Oct. 9 at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Sheriff Road in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights for the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in a gas station parking lot. Once on scene, they discovered Breaux who had been seriously injured. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.

The preliminary investigation revealed Carter and the victim arrived together at the gas station. Carter intentionally struck the victim with his vehicle during a dispute. Carter remained on the scene and was taken into custody by responding officers. He has been charged with first-degree murder, the police department noted.
