Man Fatally Hit By Vehicle, Driver And Child Injured: Maryland State Police
A man was fatally hit by a vehicle in Bowie, according to the Maryland State Police, and the driver and a young passenger were injured.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — An unidentified man was hit by a vehicle Wednesday shortly before 6 p.m. while he was in the intersection of Central Avenue at Enterprise Road in Bowie.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Maryland State Police, a Hyundai struck the man who was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Capital Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Hyundai, a woman, and a child who was a passenger in the vehicle, were taken by ambulance to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

According to Maryland State Police investigators, impaired driving was not a factor in this crash. The road was closed until about 8:50 p.m. following the crash.
