Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle Along MLK Jr. Highway: Prince George's Police

A man was hit and killed while crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Highway. Anyone with information is asked to call Prince George's Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 47-year-old Hyattsville man was hit and killed in the 7100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway Oct. 22 shortly after 8 p.m.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Gerber Mejia Reyes was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not injured, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
