PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 52-year-old former Hyattsville resident who has faced indecent exposure charges in the past has pleaded guilty in connection to more charges stemming from him masturbating near a student at Salisbury University.

Aaron M. Dunn, 52, walked into the Academic Commons at Salisbury University April 25. He went up to the third floor and began masturbating next to a student who was sitting at a desk. According to prosecutors, the student couldn't see what was happening but another student did and confronted Dunn, who then stopped and took off, court documents said.

Dunn had been prohibited from accessing the Salisbury University since 2005 for a similar incident. According to prosecutors, he has been convicted of incident exposure on five separate occasions since 2000. He has been either convicted or accused of sex crimes in Maryland, Delaware, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Dunn currently has an open bench warrant in Baltimore County for similar allegations at Towson University, KATV reported.

According to charging documents, Dunn was charged in April 2019 for masturbating next to a female student at Towson’s Cook Library. He was tackled by multiple students who waited for campus police to arrive, KATV noted.

Dunn was charged with two counts of indecent exposure for an incident that happened in 2018 at the University of Maryland's McKeldin Library. A female student was sitting at a desk in the library when he exposed himself, according to university police. She and other students chased him down the stairs, WJZ reported.

Dunn has pleaded guilty to one count of indecent exposure and one count of trespassing on school grounds for the latest incident at Salisbury University.

"College students deserve a campus free from sexual deviants and predators like Aaron Dunn. The Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office is committed to protecting our community and will vigorously prosecute repeat offenders," said Wicomico County State's Attorney Jamie Dykes.
