Man Mowing Along BW Parkway Dies from Crash Injuries
A contractor for the U.S. Park Service died late Tuesday after a collision with a car along Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

RIVERDALE, MD — A contractor driving a mower along the northbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway has died from injuries suffered in a crash with a car, officials said.
The accident backed up traffic for miles late Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened near Riverdale Road around 1 mile from the Capital Beltway. Mark Brady, Prince George's County Fire/EMS spokesperson, tweeted that contractor for the U.S. Park Service suffered "critical injuries."

CPR administered at the scene revived the man, reports WTOP, but he died late Tuesday night at a Prince George’s County hospital.
NBC Washington reported that the worker using a lawn tractor was struck by a car.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
