Man Shot To Death In Possible Carjacking: Prince George's Police

Prince George's Police believe a man fatally shot may have been the victim of a carjacking. A reward has been offered for information.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the fatal shooting of 54-year-old Lee Alexander Thomas of Largo Monday night.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, on Dec. 19 at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at a gas station in the 10000 block of Campus Way South. Once on scene, officers found Thomas with gunshot wounds. He died of his injuries at a hospital several hours later.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and whether Thomas was shot during a carjacking.
