Man Shot To Death In Seat Pleasant
Police are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

SEAT PLEASANT, MD -- A man was shot to death in Seat Pleasant Friday afternoon, and police are looking for a suspect.
Police responded to the 400 block of 69th Place after a report of a shooting at around 12:45 p.m. Dec. 8, and found the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Jerry Merritt of Seat Pleasant, and are offering $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

Merritt was taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Officers found another victim suffering from a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the report.
