Man Threatens to Blow Up Government Building in Beltsville: Police
Police say Christopher Louis Adams visited the Motor Vehicle Administration and at some point left, threatening to return with a bomb.

BELTSVILLE, MD — A man who threatened to bring a bomb to the Motor Vehicle Administration in Beltsville has been arrested on charges of threatening to commit mass violence and arson.
Maryland State Police were called to the Motor Vehicle Administration at 11760 Baltimore Avenue at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 regarding a bomb threat. They discovered that 60-year-old Christopher Louis Adams had already left the area, and an employee there said that he had "made statements of returning with a bomb and wishing to detonate it at the Motor Vehicle Administration," according to the police report.
The Maryland State Police College Park Barrack obtained an arrest warrant for Adams and tried to find him at a number of locations throughout Prince George's and Montgomery Counties before he was finally taken into custody without incident.

He is pending disposition before a Prince George's County Court Commissioner.
