Motorcycle Crash Claims The Life Of DC Man: Prince George's Police
A Washington, D.C., man has died in a motorcycle crash in Prince George's County. Police are asking for information from the public.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 32-year-old Washington, D.C., man has died in a motorcycle crash in Seat Pleasant. The incident occurred in the area of East Capitol Street and Davey Street for a collision between a motorcycle and a van.
The preliminary investigation reveals that when the driver of the van entered the center median that separates the eastbound and westbound lanes of East Capitol Street, the motorcycle driven by Vaughan Holland struck the van, according to a police report. Holland was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained on the scene.
