One Dead, Child Injured in Capitol Heights Crash
Prince George's County Police hope a driver saw something and can help determine why a car went off the road.

A Suitland man died and a child in his car was injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Capitol Heights, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Andre Lamont White, 57, of Parkway Terrace Drive in Suitland died in the crash, authorities say.

The accident at Central Avenue and Addison Road was reported about 9 p.m. Saturday., When officers arrived, they found White suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
A young child in White’s car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say White’s car was eastbound on Central Avenue when, for reasons which are under investigation, his car left the road and struck a tree.
