Oxon Hill Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
Police say Michael Dorden had child pornography on his laptop.

OXON HILL, MD — Police raided the home of an Oxon Hill man after receiving a tip back in August that someone in the area was distributing child pornography on the Internet.
Police arrested 52-year-old Michael Dorden of Oxon Hill on charges of distribution of child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography, according to a report from Maryland State Police.
It all started when Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in August 2016, advising them of the distribution of child pornography over the Internet by an unknown individual. After an investigation, police zeroed in on Dorden and obtained a search warrant, the report states.
