PG County Schools Cancels Evening Classes, Activities Due To Snow

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD: Prince George's County Public Schools cancelled all after school and evening activities, including Evening High School, on Tuesday, Jan. 7, due to inclement weather. No announcement has been issued about early dismissal for regular school students.

In addition, all Before and After School Extended Learning Programs and vendor managed program sites will close at 4 p.m.

The Washington, D.C. metro area is under a winter weather advisory, including Baltimore and eight Maryland counties. Several school districts have already announced early dismissal, but PGCPS has not.

ANNOUNCEMENT: All after school and evening activities, including Evening High School, are cancelled today, 1/7/20.

All Before and After School Extended Learning Programs and vendor managed program sites will close at 4pm.
