PG County Public Schools Holding Huge Recruitment Fairs This Month

You'll get a chance to get hired on the spot as a teacher for the public school system for the upcoming school year.

Have you always dreamed of being an educator? Prince George's County Public Schools is looking for your type at three recruitment fairs in Upper Marlboro starting this week.

PGCPS will hold the fairs July 13, 20 and 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School, 12650 Brooke Lane, according to a statement.

"We are looking for talented educators who are committed, focused on making a difference, and hold (or are eligible) for a teacher certificate issued by the Maryland State Department of Education," the statement notes.

In order to attend, you'll have to register and apply through iRecruitment, located here. You'll need to submit a resume, two professional letters of recommendation, an unofficial transcript, a teaching certificate (if applicable) and Praxis or state-specific test reports (if applicable).

Hiring decisions will be made at the recruitment fair. If chosen, you'll sign an Advance Contract to join the public school system for the 2016-17 school year.
