PGPD Officer Pleads Guilty To Sex Solicitation In DC: Police
A Prince George's County police officer has pleaded guilty to soliciting sex in D.C., police say.

WASHINGTON, DC — A suspended Prince George's County police officer has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of soliciting a sexual act in D.C., police say.
Ian Lucas, a five-year member of the Prince George's County Police Department, now faces an ongoing administrative investigation at the department, PGPD said in a statement.
Police were contacted by a citizen on Nov. 10, 2018, who told them about the solicitation allegation against Lucas in D.C., the statement notes.

"Our agency reached out to the Metropolitan Police Department which launched a criminal investigation," it reads. "Our Special Investigation Response Team within our Internal Affairs Division launched an administrative investigation. On that same date, Lucas’ police powers were suspended. He has been suspended with pay ever since."
