Police Search For Answers After Man Found With Stab Wounds Inside Seat Pleasant Restaurant

A man, 62, was found inside a Seat Pleasant restaurant with fatal stab wounds. Police are investigating and ask for the public's help.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 62-year-old Capitol Heights man died after he was stabbed in a Seat Pleasant restaurant over the weekend.

About 4:20 p.m. Sunday, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department and Prince George’s County Police Department were called to the 5900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway for a report of a stabbing.

Officers found Mervyn Daniel unresponsive inside a restaurant with stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
