Police Release Name of Homicide Victim
A $25K reward is offered for leads in the shooting death of a Capitol Heights man, according to police.

Authorities on Wednesday identified the victim of the county’s most recent homicide as Earl Atwood Ross, 24, of Coral Gardens Court in Capitol Heights.
Prince George’s County Police officers were called to the 1300 block of Coral Gardens Court about 10:15 a.m. for the report of a shooting. Ross was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds outside a house.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

Detectives are working to identify the suspects and motive in this case. It does not appear the shooting was a random act, authorities said.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for leads in the case. Tipsters do not have to give their name.
