Prince George's County Schools Update for Monday
The record snowstorm is melting away, and Mother Nature is helping to clear the roads.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Good news for parents: all Prince George’s County Public Schools will be open for students and staff on Monday, Feb. 1.
School officials tweeted a reminder Sunday evening. It’s also a “B” Day.

Residents were urged to spend the weekend shoveling sidewalks and intersections where students cross. Temperatures climbing into the 50s this weekend, and close to 70 by Tuesday, will help melt the remaining snow.

If you know of a street that still hasn’t been plowed submit an online request at http://countyclick.princegeorgescountymd.gov/ and click on “Submit Request for Snow Removal” at the top of page.
The county’s service center 3-1-1 is also available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; after hours residents can call the Snow Information Center at 301-350-0500.
