A glitch with county’s online snow removal request form and plow tracking system may have frustrated some area residents.

The Prince George’s County Office of Information Technology has corrected the problem on the snow removal form, but the tracking system was still down Monday.

Reach the online snow removal request form athttp://countyclick.princegeorgescountymd.gov/ and click on “Submit Request for Snow Removal” at the top of page. Just input an email address and the location that needs plowing. The snow removal request type is already pre-populated on this form.

Residents can also submit snow removal requests by calling 3-1-1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or to the Snow Information Center at 301-350-0500. County officials urge residents to be patient and wait until midnight tonight, Tuesday, before submitting a request.

The plow tracking map was still down Monday afternoon. As an alternative, the Department of Public Works and Transportation says residents can visithttp://www.pgctrip.com/ to view county traffic cameras and updated information.

Some residents have called 9-1-1 to ask about snow removal, which officials emphasized is not what the emergency number is for.
