School Bus Crash Reported in Prince George's County

Police say none of the 24 high school students on board were seriously injured.

PISCATAWAY, MD — A school bus carrying 24 high school students has been involved in an accident in Piscataway in Prince George's County on Tuesday morning, according to PG County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady.

Brady tweeted at 8:04 a.m. Tuesday that there had been two separate crashes in the area of Accokeek and Berry roads, and one of the crashes had involved a school bus. Brady corrected an initial report indicating that they were elementary school students, noting that they were actually high school students headed to Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine.

No one was seriously injured on the bus, Brady said.
