Schools to Hold Family Support Day Dec. 5

The Head Start Program Family Support Community Resource Day will be held in Capitol Heights and is open to all county families.

Prince George’s County Public Schools will host its Head Start Program Family Support Community Resource Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at H. Winship Wheatley Early Childhood Center, located at 8801 Ritchie Drive in Capitol Heights.

The event will provide families with access to a variety of health, family, employment, educational resources, and an opportunity to attend an autism awareness or father engagement workshop.

Families will enjoy a performance by the district’s Head Start students.

Participants can enjoy light refreshments, door prizes, and parent kits, plus giveaways are available, on a first come, first served basis.
