School's Out!
Prince George's County schools closed for the day, skating and haunted houses.
- As we mentioned in yesterday's update, a ballet performance of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is being held at the Bowie Center for the Perfoming Arts on Saturday. Amy Reinink from the Gazette previewed the event yesterday.
- All Prince George's County Public Schools are closed tomorrow as many teachers are attending the MSEA (Maryland State Education Association) Conference in Ocean City.
- There is a School's Out Skate Day at the Bowie Ice Arena. Kids aged 6-14 can skate all day (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for $45, with family discounts available. You can print the registration form here.
- The haunted house "Patuxent Research Lab" at Baysox Stadium is open again for the weekend. If you buy tickets online, use the code HAUNTED to save $5.
