Suspect Sought In March Road Rage Shooting Along Route 50: Maryland State Police

Anyone with information about a fatal road rage shooting that happened March 19 in Prince George's is asked to contact MD State Police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Video footage has been released of a fatal road rage incident that happened March 19 along Route 50 at Veterans Parkway in Prince George's County. Detectives with the Maryland State Police homicide unit hope the video will help yield information that would help solve the case.

Delonte Hicks, a 29-year-old tow truck driver from Washington, D.C., was shot while heading eastbound along Route 50. At approximately 5:45 p.m. police believe Hicks exchanged words with the driver of a black passenger car (pictured below) when he pulled out a weapon and fired into the vehicle, hitting Hicks. The gunman continued eastbound on Route 50.
