Teen Charged As Adult After Taking Loaded Gun To School: Prince George's Police
A teen has been charged as an adult after police say he took a loaded gun to school. SROs recovered the gun from his waistband.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A student at Central High School brought a loaded gun onto school property Monday.
School security officers notified school resource officers that the student was possibly armed. The SROs recovered the gun from the student's waistband, according to police.
The 17-year-old suspect will be charged as an adult, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. He faces charges of handgun on person, dangerous weapon on school property, loaded handgun on person and more.
