A 15-year-old faces murder charges after police say he shot and killed his mom and 8-year-old brother, and shot his father.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 15-year-old has been arrested and charged after police say he shot and killed his mother and 8-year-old brother, then shot and wounded his father.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home located in the 8500 block of Wendy Street in Clinton. They found 44-year-old Taledia Oxley and her 8-year-old son Asa Oxley dead. The suspect's dad James Oxley told Fox 5 that he was shot twice in his forearm and right side of his stomach. He underwent surgery and is recovering.

"I just heard these pops and I thought it was the TV and I look to my right and I noticed my son was shooting my wife across the room then he shot my 8-year-old then I realized what was happening, and I jumped up to confront him, and he turned the gun and shot me twice," Oxley said. "I saw the gun went empty, and he threw it down, and I chased him to the front door and I grabbed him, but I couldn’t grab my right hand because it was broken."
