Teen Dies More Than A Year After Being Shot In Lanham: Police
Police are now treating his death as a homicide, but have no suspects.

LANHAM, MD -- Police are now treating the death of a teenager as a homicide after he died more than a year and a half after being shot in Lanham.
Police say 18-year-old Ki Johnson went to the hospital on Oct. 10, 2017 for breathing issues and died later that day. He had been shot in the 9900 block of Greenbelt Road back on Feb. 29, 2016 after getting into an argument with another man, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled in February of this year that Johnson's death was due to injuries from the gunshot wound, and therefore his death was a homicide, prompting police to take over the investigation.
