Teen Driver Killed When Vehicle Crashes Into Utility Pole: Prince George's Police
A 17-year-old Lanham boy died when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a utility pole, according to Prince George's County Police.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 17-year-old driver has died in a crash Friday morning in Lanham.
On July 21 at approximately 8:10 a.m., Prince George's police officers responded to the 9100 block of Ardwick Ardmore Road for a report of a single-vehicle collision. A preliminary investigation shows that teen Jason Peraza was headed eastbound on Ardwick Ardmore Road when he lost control of his car and hit a utility pole, police officers reported.
Peraza was pronounced dead on the scene. A passenger in Peraza’s car suffered serious injuries in the crash, the police department disclosed. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police department's collision analysis and reconstruction unit at 301-731-4422.
