Teen Fatally Shot At Prince George's Convenience Store, 3 Others Wounded: Police
Four people were shot at a convenience store in Prince George's County, including one teen who died of his injuries.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 15-year-old from Washington, D.C., was shot and killed at a convenience store in Capitol Heights Sept. 3.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, at about 8 p.m., De'Andre Johnson was fatally shot at the convenience store. Another 15-year-old boy was shot and listed in critical condition. Two adults were shot, too; one of the adults is a store employee.
The preliminary investigation indicates that two suspects walked into the convenience store and opened fire before leaving the scene. At this point in the investigation, this does not appear to be a robbery attempt or a random incident, police officers say. Investigators are looking into whether any of the individuals in the store were targeted by the shooters.
