Teenage Girl Gunned Down in Upper Marlboro: Police
A man was also wounded in the Wednesday morning shooting.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — An 18-year-old girl has been shot to death in Upper Marlboro, and an injured man was taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
Police responded to the 10200 block of Prince Place in response to a reported shooting at around 1:45 a.m. Oct. 19. They found Alyssa Banks, 18, suffering from gunshot wounds. She died later at the hospital, according to the report.
"A man was also shot during this incident and taken to the hospital," the report states. "Preliminarily, his injuries do not appear to be life threatening."

Police believe the shooter is still on the loose.
Banks lived at the address where the shooting occurred. Police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting.

Police believe Banks and the man who was shot knew each other.
