Teenager Shot Christmas Day, Suspect Sought: Greenbelt Police

A teenager was shot Christmas Day in Greenbelt. Officers ask for the public's help in finding the suspect or suspects.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A teenage boy was shot Christmas Day, according to the Greenbelt Police Department.

On Dec. 25 at approximately 1:17 p.m., Greenbelt police officers responded to the 9000 block of Breezewood Terrace for a report of gunshots. They found evidence that a shooting had taken place.

At 1:51 p.m., a 15-year-old boy arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound police say happened during the Breezewood Terrace shooting. Police reported that the injury was not life-threatening.
