Teens Charged As Adults With Murder In Greenbelt Man's Shooting Death

GREENBELT, MD — Two teens have been charged as adults with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a Greenbelt man.

The shooting happened Sept. 12, 2025, in the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace. The victim was taken to the hospital and died of his injuries Oct. 5, 2025.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified and charged the two suspects - a 15-year-old from Lanham and a 16-year-old from Laurel. They were taken into custody Wednesday with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
