Tips Sought In Father Of Four's Beltway Murder: PG County Police

Police ask the public to call with info on a July 1 shooting; an Upper Marlboro man was found dead inside a vehicle on the Beltway.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Prince George's County Police on Wednesday shared a photo of an Upper Marlboro murder victim's distinctive car and again asked for tip from the public to help find the suspect who fatally shot the father. Authorities say no detail is too small as detectives try to determine who killed Adriano Lombre, 55, of Harry S. Truman Drive in Upper Marlboro, who was found dead inside a vehicle on the Beltway late Saturday night.

A Prince George's County Police officer spotted the victim's car about 11:55 p.m. stopped in a lane of traffic on the Outer Loop of Interstate 495 at the Pennsylvania Avenue exit. She stopped to check on the stopped car and saw Lombre inside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Lombre's daughter, Christina, has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for her father's funeral expenses; roughly $7,500 had been donated by Thursday. She wrote that the father of four was shot after taking a friend home from a card party he hosted Saturday afternoon.
