Top 5 Safest City In Maryland Honor Goes To Glenarden In Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Glenarden has been ranked in the top 5 safest cities in Maryland by SafeWise for 2021. Other states in the top 5 include Ocean Pines at first, Hampstead in second, Glenarden in third, Centreville as fourth and Mount Airy in fifth.

To determine the safest cities in each state, SafeWise analyzed the FBI’s violent crime and property crime data from 2019, the most recent data available at the time of SafeWife's analysis, for each city.
