Trick or Treat with Baysox Mascot Louie

Fans can enter to win the chance to go door-to-door with Bowie's resident mascot.

If your little ninja or fairy princess is a Baysox fan, this is the Halloween contest for you.

The Bowie Baysox are giving one local child the chance to trick or treat with mascot Louie on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

Entry forms can be found online here, and according to a press release, parents can enter each child an unlimited number of times for $5 an entry. Proceeds go to Louie’s Hope Project, which helps families in need during the holiday season.

Louie will show up at the winner’s house on Halloween in his β€œLouie” van with a special Baysox prize package and go trick or treating with the child for about 45 minutes.

Since its founding in 2007, Louie’s Holiday Hope Project has helped over 100 local kids and dozens of local families. Louie and Baysox employees surprise selected families at their homes during the holiday season with gifts, food and clothing, according to the press release.

The contest closes Oct. 26 at noon, and the winner will be notified by 5 p.m. on Oct. 29.
