Two Armed Carjackings In Three Days Reported In Greenbelt: Police
Two armed carjackings were reported with three days in Greenbelt, according to the police department there.
GREENBELT, MD — Two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns carjacked a woman March 14 in the 6400 block of Capitol Drive. Two days later, another armed carjacking was reported at the Exxon gas station in Greenbelt.
According to Greenbelt Police, the first armed carjacking happened at 11:45 p.m. March 14. The victim reported that a black sedan with tinted windows pulled in front of the victim's 2015 Hyundai Somata and two men got out. The first suspect was wearing a red hoodie and a ski mask, and the second was wearing all black and a ski mask; both were armed with black handguns.
The first suspect pointed the gun at the victim and demanded the victim get out of her car. Both suspects then climbed into the victim’s car and drove away. A third suspect drove the black sedan, according to the police department.

On March 16 at 8:38 pm, officers responded to the Exxon gas station for a carjacking. The victim reported two males, possibly teenagers, wearing all black and ski masks, displayed a handgun and demanded the victim empty his pockets. The suspects took the victim's keys to a black Mercedes-Benz C300 and took off down Hanover Parkway towards Good Luck Road.
