19-Year-Old Woman Hit By SUV While In The Road: Prince George's Police

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A woman was hit Monday around 4:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights. She has not been publicly identified by police pending notification of her family.

A preliminary investigation shows the driver of an SUV was headed eastbound on Central Avenue when, for unknown reasons, hit the woman who was in the road. She was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver did remain on the scene, according to Prince George's County Police.
