Victim Carjacked, Nearly Shot At Gas Station: Police
Police said somebody was carjacked at a gas station in Prince George's County. Bullets narrowly missed the victim, officers added.
BLADENSBURG, MD — Police announced last Thursday that a man was carjacked while filling up at a Bladensburg gas station on March 17. Officers added that the suspect shot at and narrowly missed the victim.
The encounter happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of Annapolis Road, an incident report clarified. Police explained that the suspect hopped out of the front passenger seat of a dark gray Nissan Altima at the neighboring pump.
Officers noted that the suspect demanded the victim's car at gunpoint, and the two got into a brief struggle. An incident report mentioned that the suspect shot at the victim, piercing their clothes but missing their body.

The suspect then jumped in the victim's white 2019 Kia Forte and sped off alongside the Nissan, the write-up concluded. A security camera video shows the theft at this link.
