Washington Redskins Release 2016 NFL Schedule
Washington's season opener is a home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team also travels to London for a regular season game.

The NFL released its 2016 schedule Thursday night, and the NFC East champion Washington Redskins kick off the season at home at 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12, against the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedExField.
Washington is scheduled to play two more prime-time games at FedExField against fellow 2015 NFC playoff teams, when host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 20 and then four weeks later will have the Carolina Panthers in town for a Monday Night Football matchup on Dec. 19. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Washington will also travel overseas for the franchise's first regular season game in London game on Oct. 30 against the Cincinnati Bengals. They will renew their rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day with a 4:30 p.m. kickoff on Thursday, Nov. 24.
