Weather Decision Updated For Tuesday Classes: Prince George's County Public Schools
Prince George's County Public Schools have changed their schedule for Tuesday after snow blanketed the state Monday into Tuesday.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Officials with the Prince George' County Public Schools said school will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to weather conditions.
School offices also will be closed. There is a two-hour delay for emergency personnel, the district said.
It snowed nearly all day Monday and into Tuesday morning in Maryland. Odenton got about 4.5 inches, according to Patch's unofficial measurement around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The Baltimore-DC region was forecast to see up to 4 inches of snow Monday into Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service said. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday, the NWS said, with 2 to 4 inches of snow expected in much of north central, northeast and northern Maryland.
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the afternoon and evening commute," the NWS advisory said.
