Have you heard Jonathan Nelson's song, Finish Strong? The words are really timely: "In this race that we run you gotta have endurance cause it’s a marathon, I was born sure enough to win in pursuit with faith until the end. I'm going to have a strong finish because I have strong faith..."
How many times have you relied upon your faith to help you get through some tough times? Didn't it feel good to know that your faith brought you through? Didn't it feel good to know that God was moving on your behalf just because He is who He is? I know that sometimes we make situations into "giants" that we feel we cannot conquer. We tend to forget how strong God has made us. Judges 6:15 tells us that even Gideon was hesitant, "So he said to Him, 'O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.'" God has given us might beyond beyond! Look at what He did for Gideon in Judges 6:16, "And the Lord said to him, 'Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man." We all tend to not trust God 100% all of the time. But, despite our weaknesses, God will still accomplish His Will in our lives. Stay encouraged and Finish Strong by finding the Gideon within you!
