Wisdom Wednesdays: "God's Name Is Still Excellent!"

Oh Lord Jesus "Your Name Is Still Excellent!"  Ask yourself, "How Excellent is the Name of Jesus?"  Begin to speak your answers back to God.  This past week I was expecting something big to happen.  I had high expectations and had already envisioned the "what", the "when" and the "how".  I was really, really, really excited!  I just knew my prayers had been answered.  But God had a different plan and I was sad, disappointed and mad.  As I allowed God to break the wall around my heart, He began to minister to me.  God reminded me of who He is in Psalm 8:1, "O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!"

Just a gentle reminder is all I needed from God.  So now when I have those "moments" I just say, "God, Your Name Is Still Excellent!"

Now that's a word!
