Woman Killed After Car Crashes Into Security Chain, Pole: Prince George's Police

A 22-year-old Prince George's woman has died after her car crashed into a security chain and a pole, according to police.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 22-year-old Bladensburg woman has died in a single-vehicle crash.

The incident occurred Feb. 1 at approximately 8:15 p.m. in the 5400 block of Annapolis Road. The preliminary investigation revealed that Michelle Hernandez was traveling westbound on Annapolis Road. For reasons now under investigation, her car veered to the right side of the roadway, hit a raised concrete curb and left the road, striking a security chain and a pole. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
