You Can Help Beat MS at Charity Walk

BOWIE, MD - Bowie Town Center will host "Walk MS: Bowie" in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on Saturday, April 16. Community members are invited to make strides toward a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS) by joining this 5K fundraising walk. A one-mile option is also available.

There is no fee for Walk MS: Bowie. However, participants are encouraged to make a fundraising commitment (the average Walk MS participant raises $250).
Participants can register in advance at WalkMS.org or by calling (855) 372-1331. Day-of registration is also available. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 9 a.m. in front of the Food Court.

Walk MS is a charity walk series that take place in more than 550 locations with more than 330,000 people participating, annually. They’ve been walking since 1988 and to date have raised more than $920 million to drive groundbreaking research, provide life-changing programs and guarantee a supportive community for those who need it most.
Walk to help the Greater DC-Maryland Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society achieve its goal of $2.1 million. All funds raised will help the more than 15,000 people in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia who are living with multiple sclerosis.
