"Sounds like a major increase in government spending, size and taxes. It's a worrisome impact on private job growth and maintenance, which puts pressure on for more government jobs; good for those who do not pay taxes and or get tax refunds; very unnerving for those who pay taxes..."

On Facebook, friends of the Broadneck Patch are lending their voices to the ongoing discussion. Here are some of the comments being made:

"At this early stage, I would say the Supreme Court was correct in calling this a tax and putting it back in our hands. Obama care is bad legislation. It is not the job of the Supreme Court to vote on whether a bill is good or not, that's what the ballot box is for. Elections have their consequences." -Dave Nibeck

"It means more taxes that we have to pay. As if we're not taxed enough already." -Stan Benjamin

"Renewed faith in the US Supreme Court, and it means something important and good to all Americans, insured or not." -Christy Roberts

"It means that Big Brother has taken away even more of our freedom and intruded on our lives. Where does it stop?" -Connie Morsberger
